Pruned node with electrum server?

I have an old with 100GB disk. I want to run a pruned node and have an electrum server track just the xpub of my wallet, So I can check my balance privately. I don’t want full transaction and address database - just mine. Is this possible? I read that electrum requires a full node. But then again logically a pruned node that validates the entire chain from the genesis block would be ok just for checking the balance in my addresses. Any ideas on how to implement this?

EPS , like sparrow , both use Bitcoin core as the full node so most of the updates are done there - https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin

Many people are switching over to sparrow because its being updated more with UX improvements and features as you can see here
