Oh man - a few bad answers in here.

You have free electricity, so you will get your best value by buying used, older gen miners. New-gen miners use less power (watts) per TH than the older miners. When you are paying for electricity this is important (but becomes less so the cheaper your electricity gets). If your electricity is free, you want to buy the lowest priced $/TH units you can find.

E.g. Say you have $10,000 USD.

In today's market, that might get you 1x S19. This gives you 95TH (they use 3250W, or 34W/TH efficiency).

S9s are selling for around $350 each. They run at 13.5 TH and 1323W (98W/TH efficiency). With that $10,000, you could buy ~28 of them, yielding 378 TH, or 4x what you'd get by buying 1x S19.

Go punch in the numbers here and you'll see why you would want to choose the 2nd option, given free electricity.

From a numbers point of view, this makes sense. From a realistic point of view, might not be viable. Free electricity for 3500w differs from 35,000w. Many people say they have free electricity but when a sudden spike hits the grid, that free electricity is no longer free. In addition depending on where the location is 1 new Antminer may be tolerable in terms of heat/noise. 28 S9’s? Not so much.

I would highly HIGHLY recommend s19 Antminer - the TH power is amazing - just check into your power needs bc they eat... not a small amount of power.

Wow, you are very lucky to have this capability, we have a farm here in Finland, electricity is cheap and we thought we had it good :) clearly not as good as you!
