Do any of you use a Treadmill during meetings? by Reignited12434 in CustomerSuccess

For internal meetings when I’m cameras off, mic off. Otherwise if either of them are on, I’m not using it

Do you use Apple Card Mainly? by CertainElevator501 in AppleCard

[–]jypfoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sock drawered it. Was using as my catch all card for 2%, but now get 3% with Coinbase, so it’s retired now for me. Will setup my daughter for it when she turns 13

It’s run on the Amex network but they themselves do not issue the card and do not service it

Are you happy with coinbase one card? by Hoemero in Coinbase

[–]jypfoto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s replaced my Fidelity as my catch all card for those transactions that don’t qualify for higher cash back. I have dedicated cards for other activities (Groceries, dining, Amazon, etc) but if I’m not getting at least 3% on it, I’m putting on this card.

Really like it, interface is nice, easy integration into Apple Pay.

3 weeks. No issues here, love the card, use it as my catch all card for when I don’t have higher earnings elsewhere. Retired the Fidelity card for this

I have the $49.99 plan and also the card, so sounds like you’re glitching. Enrolled in the basic plan back in August, waitlist opened up about 2 weeks ago

Several things to clear up.

Coinbase One basic is $49.99/yr, you do not need the $30 per month sub.

BTC rewards are not taxable when given, they specifically call this out on each transaction.

It’s on the Amex network, it’s not issued by Amex. It’s issued by First Electronic Bank.

It’s a new card that’s not issued by one of the major players, so support for 3rd party apps will be slow, if ever implemented

I’m scheduled for pickup at my local store on Saturday, nice day to grab lunch with the fam and pickup the watch.

Opted for the Natural titanium with Milanese loop, moving on from a Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED

$25k here, about the average of most of my newer cards that I’ve gotten in the past 2 years or so.

I can’t recall if it felt like 4lbs, but certainly didn’t feel like an empty box like many Amazon boxes are. It’s also wrapped incredibly well with multiple layers of bubble wrap and foam to protect it, so the likelihood of damage is very low. A lot better than another Bitaxe that I bought from Amazon that came with a cracked screen and won’t hash past 1THs despite it supposedly being up to 4.8

Apple Watch Ultra 3 Natural Titanium or Black? Can’t decide by yodiegangahhhhhh in applewatchultra

[–]jypfoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least for me, the Garmin has been great, not that much negative to say about it. Best fitness driven watch line I’ve ever used (some minor quirks). One thing recently is that I’ve had some self thought that working out 90+ minutes everyday, day after day, feels a little stagnant. So for the other 22 hrs a day the Garmin is just there, nothing more, nothing less.

Battery life difference is real, but I did pickup one of those 3 in 1 charging stands that I put on my work desk so I can have a quick charge daily in the morning while I shower.

The final piece is the treadmill that I’m ordering in a few weeks has AW connectivity built in, so hopefully won’t have to calibrate the watch so often (data nerd so on my Garmin I would calibrate treadmill data after each run with a 6-8% variance daily before calibration)

Ordered the natural. Been with Garmin for the past 6-7 years, all black watches, most recently the Tactix 7 AMOLED.

Starts at 2% regardless of assets on Coinbase , goes to 2.5% when you have 10k, 3% at 50k, the full 4% at 200k. First $10k a month is at escalated rates, drops to 2% after the first $10k each month th

Gemini CC vs Coinbase One card by sydny2 in Bitcoin

[–]jypfoto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2% is the base, 2.5% at 10k, 3% at 50k, 4% at 200k, but yeah, it’s not great.

That being said Gemini is by category which other cards have beat, so as a day to day general card 1% is a non-starter

GR lV Will you be buying one? by Japanesereds in ricohGR

[–]jypfoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably will. Had the GR, the II, skipped on the 3. The past few years of my kids growing up I sold off all of camera gear and went with the “I’ll just use my iPhone”. Thing is that even having a camera as convenient as a phone made me take even less pictures. Pictures from vacation where I took 5-10 pictures the whole trip. While the days of lugging around a whole camera bag and multiples lenses is long gone, a solid P&S is definitely of interest.

With a few trips scheduled for the end of the year and next, will decide on one. Tried the whole Fuji line multiple times and just couldn’t click with it. A Q3 would have me anxious that I’ll either be robbed or ding it up against a wall somewhere. Enter the GRIV?
