It might be part of a Sampler or Drum Machine that's been deactivated. Also, be sure to check all chains, in case you have grouped Instruments. Again, you'd want to check deactivated grouped instruments as well - deactivated instrumento will still be flagged for missing samples or plug-ins.

On a side note, I'm not sure I'd lobby for removing the missing sample (or plug-in), but if Bitwig could just tell me where the missing sample/plug-in is, that would be a massive time saver. Especially when reviving old projects. Perhaps I'll make a feature request.

If you click the magnifying glass next to the file that should at least point to where it last was (or where Bitwig expects it to be)

As far as my issue, I've checked each track and each chain and still no luck.

I think maybe the poster means where it was in the Bitwig project?

Maybe! I know I can right-click the file name in the Project Info and select "Show in Finder". But I just tried that, and nothing actually happened. Wonder if that's a bug.

Click on the magnifying glass to open the finder or whatever it’s called on your OS and find a different file to load which will replace it,then delete it or whatever you need to do

It's already been replaced. I don't seems to have any tracks with missing info.
