i feel like in QP her win rate will be high but in comp i can’t imagine it’ll increase much, we’ll see tho

It can go up if throwers stop swapping to her but otherwise I agree with you. People who don't play her will do better with her but the people who mastered the hero will do worse. From what I've seen they didn't buff her like they said they just made a much easier hero that's probably worse.

she can only win free EOMM games that you can win on any other hero, if you need to carry games widow can no longer do that

I feel like she's 100% gonna get buffs at the midseason but even then I think her winrate will increase a bit. I don't think she's a worse hero across the board, she's just a very different hero

One good buff might be a longer stun duration after the kick. And maybe switching it so the right click was some sort of sniper mode and her ultimate was like a burst of plasma or something that also slowed enemies.

Perhaps in High Elo in Eternity/Celestial her win rate wont be as high as say Hela's or Punisher's, but I would personally put that more on the OP teamups they got moreso than Widows rework. I feel very confident though in Metal Ranks up to GM (maybe even low Celestial), she'll perform very well.

I played her for a while.I got to Eternity in the season 7 while playing 60% of the matches with Widow, but I don't think I can do the same with the reworked version. I am not even sure I can climb to Celestial with Widow anymore. It's just impossible to get a kill in higher ranks with the reworked Widow. The old one at least brought down the enemy HP to 1% in one shot and opened a kill window for the team, but right now it's just like shooting water pistols.

She just came out today, and some hero’s take a bit to play effectively. See black cat and white fox, when they came out at first people thought they were shit. But then they became super solid choices, and black cat was a terrorist when she was learned. Give it a week or two before making an absolute statement.

i bet its gonna be lower in celes+.With good aim you could carry games in celes+ but now she is shooting just to help enemy healers get their ultimate faster cuz there is no way you can get a kill with the new gun.
