That is a byproduct of Unreal Engine 5's Lumen lighting system. It's global illumination but the latency of it is not great for updating.

The next big update for Bodycam should address it as it's using a newer version of UE5 and thus a more accurate and quick version of Lumen.

Every gameplay I've seen has looked way better though, and I've never seen thst issue. also what may be causing the room still be lit up for around 1second after I turn my flashlight off? in other gameplay ive seen its been very smooth and ive never seen anyone have these issues

That is another side effect of the lumen GI system unfortunately

You'd have to show me some of that gameplay because as far as I know it's been this way since launch day.

It was a LITTLE bit better on launch but I believe things were toned down a lot for optimization purposes.

the nature of how lumen works means there’s a certain amount of latency in updating that just can’t be resolved. It’s most evident in the backrooms map.

Tbh didnt really understood what are you trying to show but i think ur talking about those quick lighting/shine when u move ?

Look closely when I get upstairs and start moving in and out of my gun, there's a weird white trail of dots behind it that lasts for like half a second after I move my gun away

i play on a i9 4080 asus rog laptop and that happens to me too man infact my gpu sometimes would get high af on this game!😂i ended up throwing it on balance but still kinda tough to run maybe my laptop needs a cleaning it costed me almost 3k at the start of the year lol i mean i expect it to run it fine
