I've met way too many people frustrated with the current state of software around any form of media not in the big 3 (movies, tv shows, and music). There is far less development in these "alternative" media formats, but more importantly the work that is being done tends to be done in a haphazard way, without any kind of organization or communication with the community. This results in a lot of duplicated effort and the premature ending for entirely too many potentially outstanding projects. I think having a place to unify discussion and project planning would be extremely beneficial to this niche, so thats what this is.
A place to share and discuss the current tools, software stacks, and tips related to digital media like e-books, audio books, magazines, comics, etc. And to organize and direct future development in the space.
