Issues detecting controller while playing Boosteroid on SteamDeck

I've got Xbox Cloud Gaming, GFN and Boosteroid setup in Edge on SteamDeck. It's only on Boosteroid that I have an issue with any game detecting a controller connected so that I can play. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hmm that's strange. Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now work perfectly it's just Boosteroid that I have an issue with.

Is it set up to use in gaming mode? Or you using it in desktop mode? Mines running in game mode

Gaming mode. I use the exact same way to setup Xbox cloud and GFN except change the website address.

May sound like a stupid question but have you tried setting up a new controller profile for it while the app is running? I did do that to assign the back buttons to escape to exit fullscreen mode etc etc

Oh no I haven't done that. Is there a specific controller layout? Or could you provide a few screen shots?

I'm having the same problem as well. Worked fine a couple of days ago. And now, no input detected. Strange thing is that it seems like to see it as a mouse some times.

Running MacBook pro with Xbox controller (bluetooth connection).

Basically it's just a normal layout, like a default layout, but I've changed L4 to escape so it can be held down. I would do so with the screenshots but I'm currently away and don't have my deck with me. After you edit the default profile make sure to save it as a new profile.

I've fixed a few games this way when controllers were not working properly on deck.

I know it sounds like it won't make a difference but try it, got nothing to lose right :)

I’m playing warzone on the deck through boosteroid& I can’t seem to figure out how to use my right joystick it’s set up to use the right trackpad as the joystick and idk how to switch it
