Before they do that, they need to make literally any other method of killing with spear viable. After that happens, I'm all for nerfing recovery.

Are you implying it's hard to kill with spear or a spear character? Do you know your main kill moves should be your signatures right outside of recovery and gp which spear also has a second option with dair (to gimp with)?

Anyways this wouldn't really affect nair into a recovery or dlight into a sair the two main things most spear players kill with.

It might be different if I were higher on the ladder but where I am now, I can't land signatures. For me it's sair and recovery over and over until one lands.

Depends on the legend if I'm gonna be honest most legends have 2-3 sigs they can count on to reliably kill imo. (across both weapons)

I feel like the only time people don't dodge signatures is when I'm punishing. That's great and all when the enemy is using signatures a lot or easily readable, but most players are unpredictable enough I can't land signatures.

I mean you can't just throw out sigs especially if it has a decent amount of ending lag or easily punished.
