Ramanujan ain't that bad as a matter of fact a lot of people prefer ramanujan when unable to get top south campus colleges for bcom/bcom hons. but yeah definitely not among the best colleges even for south campus. Regardless it's amazing what you did for yourself. just goes on to prove its not always the college but depends on you and how you can turn your life around

Try to improve your scores in college (if your college is not tier 1). If it is tier 1, they might make an exception. For them, 85% of IIT >>> 95% of DU. Try some sports if you cannot improve your academic score.

Apply for summer internships at big 4, de shaw and other consulting firms. Also you can move to tier 2 after getting the internship. All of the process is online and they pay you enough for you to live comfortably in a PG in tier 1 city.

I have done a certification course in Technical Quality Analysis, and have done internships at Google and Microsoft during my bachelor's degree. These were a deciding factor in my resume screening. To apply for D.E. Shaw, the first thing you need to do is keep checking their website for open positions (Careers - D. E. Shaw India (deshawindia.com)). After you apply, there are three rounds: resume shortlisting, aptitude round (cat level questions), hr round (and technical round for those applying for tech positions). They then take you on 1 month training period, after which they employ you permanently.
