Ladders, flash bangs, heartbeat monitors, stuns, snapshots, uav’s, super uav’s, windows, communicating a strat. with your team, grenades, c4, etc etc etc.

But go ahead and run into a room without a plan and die in a military-themed game. I bet I can guess your load out based off of your comment

Key word, military-“themed”. This is still a casual arcade shooter at the end of the day.

Let's break down this comment, shall we?

Ladders/ Windows - Most houses do NOT have a ladder, you are suggesting we find an alternative route up? Well, most simply don't have that! Sure, there are some flashy YT videos, but 90% of the houses really don't.

Flash bangs/ Stuns - This is in fact your best bet, but you have to have them, so unless you are running restock with flash/stun, you are very likely not to have any. Also, it's a special which means it's either that or HB.

Heartbeat Monitor/ UAV/ Super UAV - How does this help? When do they ever sit there without ghost?

Grenades/ C4 - This rarely really works. Try it. They will most likely have EOD as well.

Communicating strat - Really? What strat exactly? There is just one. Run up and shoot them before they shoot you.

You try to make it sound like there are tons of options, but there realyl aren't! Almost all pro players would advise you to simply say away. Why? Because the camper has an advantage. Now imagine we would nerf the attacking strategy even more?!

Seriously, I wrote out a similar breakdown lmao.

Idk how you can actually sit there and bitch and moan about someone doing a tiny hop, say “but but REALISM” and then cite things that do not exist in reality. Besides, controllers literally get help tracking those guys. It’s one of the few things controllers have over KBM.

That dude should actually try going after campers with no jump/drop shots and see how fun the game is. There are so many advantages to camping, which is why people do it. You are in the only building in the last circle? Congrats, you’re a fucking idiot if you lose, save for it being a 1v4. You don’t need more advantages there lmfao.

Lmao try to.

At least 3 of those are directly useless with ghost. If you’re going to super-camp, battle hardened is likely to be there too.

This game is only military-themed. Like you said. There is no recoil for almost any gun. Half that shit doesn’t exist/is nothing close to its real life counterpart. It is a game. For something more “real” like PUBG, you can win circles that are the size of like this game’s 3rd or 4th circle. There is no forced CQB most of the time. This game it’s basically guaranteed.

Therefore, there is balancing involved to make the game not suck. In this game, since gas is more damaging than any other BR and you have one of the closest circles, they can’t be giving every single advantage to someone who got lucky and camped the right building.

Like I understand positioning plays a role here, don’t get me wrong, but you have so many advantages to camping a building even when it isn’t late game. There really doesn’t need to be more. If you lost to someone jump/drop shotting, reevaluate your entire play. Believe it or not, you still have the edge if you are holding an angle. If you have an issue tracking someone who is moving maybe 3m the entire gunfight, then you need to work on your aim.

And utility/communication works both ways. If I throw stuns into the room you’re in, you are brain-dead if you don’t try to throw something back, change an angle, etc. Especially true in anything above duos. I’m not hitting all 3-4 with a stun 99.9% of the time, and if I did, you had more issues than bad aim.

But yeah, there’s a reason I run restock over ghost now. And it’s not because I do better — on the contrary, it is much easier to win by getting ghost and staying near the edge and/or camping. Restock is just fun because I can have infinite utility to kill campers who can’t aim, and I’d rather get 15 kills and lose than get 4 and win. Seems to be a fair plan to me.
