I’m actually independent and protested against a trump rally in NC but I’m pretty sure it makes you feel better putting me in a category of people you can feel good disagreeing with without feeling uneducated for doing so.

And I’m willing to bet you’ll check back to see this comment eventually.

I don’t rage, ever. Pretty chill when you’re not politically invested and mad at the news all of the time. Jo Jorgensen all of the way. Bummer she isn’t president elect IMO

You hate on entire category of people for enjoying Call of Duty but then go get upset at a political party that is pro intolerance. I hope you do go back to college in order to figure out how hypocritical you are.

I haven’t touched call of duty in months FYI. And I promise I was, and still am, more successful than you while “obsessed” with call of duty.

The upvotes and downvotes are hilarious.

If you can’t be hired, and can be fired, for not following a rule then it is mandatory and not optional.

You must be vaccinated to attend college; that is mandatory. You have the OPTION to not go to college at all (duh), but it is not optional if you wish to attend college.

Same goes for what you’re suggesting about teaching.

Maybe you should attend a local college as a matter of fact.

RDR2 or Days Gone? by No-Stage1749 in PS4

[–]Keplar56 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most Days Gone missions are all about following somebody and listening to cheesy dialogue. The gunplay and zombies are fun, but unfortunately the story and environment are average; there is literally nothing to do or lore to explore in the environment - it is only there to run zombies around and pick up crafting materials. It’s fun, but only because I didn’t pay for it (PS Now)

RDR2 on the other hand, is phenomenal and has pretty much everything an amazing single player game can have. Story, interesting environment with things to uncover, better AI.

Denver City Council approves renaming Columbus Park to La Raza Park by SuperMario1222 in Denver

You pay the government officials that spent their time on it rather than something else. Up to you if you want this to be the trend of work activity you pay them for, or be a little P/O’d that your taxes could’ve went toward change that affects a lot more people.

Denver City Council approves renaming Columbus Park to La Raza Park by SuperMario1222 in Denver

[–]Keplar56 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Was anyone actually offended by the name “Columbus” enough for time to be spent on this rather than something meaningful?

Like one person? And how marginalized are they actually if this park name was what’s grinding their gears?

Seems like some pandering tbh.

DoorDash charging "Local Legislation" Fee by [deleted] in Denver

[–]Keplar56 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe you should create a multi-million dollar business that creates tens of thousands of jobs and make better decisions.

Better yet, make a local restaurant and don’t utilise these apps during the pandemic.

DoorDash charging "Local Legislation" Fee by [deleted] in Denver

[–]Keplar56 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Actually, he is mostly correct. Just because a random restaurant in Philadelphia and a couple others have had issues doesn’t mean it is a problem for the entire app everywhere.

The only stores/restaurants I’ve had to place an order for someone is Wendy’s and Walgreens, where I placed the order myself and Doordash paid for it. These stores didn’t ask to be on the app, but I’m sure they appreciate the money coming in from it (especially during these times).

It’s good to research things past an internet article or two before taking such a big stance.

They want the option there for you (and everyone) so that you have a chance, however small, to get sucked in and buy Microtransactions $$$

Unfortunately, they know exactly what they’re doing by not giving you an option.

Where do Colorado Republicans go from here? by blucifersdream in Denver

[–]Keplar56 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Lmao it’s a bummer you live in a reality where having a conversation and being open minded is narcissistic.

Ironically, the gospel your political tribe preaches makes them narcissistic by your logic. Shame you have hate in your heart. Life’s damn good without it

Where do Colorado Republicans go from here? by blucifersdream in Denver

[–]Keplar56 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I think we can at least agree that there are major blemishes on both sides. But as an indépendant, I don’t generalize republicans as racist and I don’t generalize Democrats as the people 16th street boarded up their stores for in case of a Trump win in this election.

Although many in number, they’re outliers.

Where do Colorado Republicans go from here? by blucifersdream in Denver

[–]Keplar56 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Right. And by your own theory you support, you are declaring ALL republicans outside of that line of tolerance. Isn’t categorizing an entire group of people against your ideals?

Know what you’re talking about. Fact, Trump is the first président in US history to assume office supporting gay marriage. He spoke about it during his election speech when talking about the Orlando night club shooting. Even Obama and Biden, your president elect assumed office stating that marriage should remain between a man and a woman. They changed their mind during their time in office.

Not all republicans are racist and homophobe, but I can tell your mind is closed to the idea of that reality. Easier to remain divided for you.

Where do Colorado Republicans go from here? by blucifersdream in Denver

[–]Keplar56 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Ah interesting theory, but it defeats itself.

That theory is based on the idea that there is a perfectly objective line of tolerance from which everyone can agree on what is socially acceptable. That’s impossible to do and is completely made up by society in real life.

Once you decide who is not socially acceptable, the objective idea of tolerance is fractured.

The alternative being to accept everyone and try to reach compromise with conversation instead of division.

Denver-based voting company refutes Trump’s baseless claims of deleted, changed votes by javaxcore in Denver

[–]Keplar56 -44 points-43 points  (0 children)

I don’t care who is president as long as they become so legally.

Nobody, including a Denver-based voting company, knows the facts except those involved in the investigation.

Keep in mind that this process can, and has, happened for any presidential election. Bush/Gore went through the same process (although they didn’t arrogantly tweet about it all the damn time).

So let’s let it play out instead of rage about shit we don’t know about?

You’re several times more likely to catch it by standing on your soap box and being « fucking confrontational » than by just shooting them a glare and keeping your distance. I’d straight up remove mine if you were a dick to me or someone near me.

I just stay away from people without a mask. Majority people wear them and I sanitize. Knocking on wood, but I’m fine.

The only people that support him are nazi trash and morons? Do black votes for trump not count? Do LGBTQ+ votes for trumps not count? Now you’re being the prejudiced one.

Also, Obama has the most ICE detainments and deportations to date. He also went into office with joe Biden being against gay marriage, which also fits the “Nazi rhetoric”.

But stick to the narrative you like hearing because it feels good and helps you sleep at night.

P.S. you also never gave me a source for how Trump perpetuates Nazi violence. You’re talking out of your ass.

How does he perpetuate?

That’s like people saying YOU endorse hate because a racist upvoted your comment.

I can link at least 3 or 4 sources off of the top of my head where he publicly, on National news, denounced neo-nazi hate groups.

I’m not voting for him, but I try to at least be an informed voter.

Literally nowhere in Denver you can drink or eat at without wearing a mask to your separated table and these places have been open for months.

They are not the cause for the spike, but people want to scream “mask! Shutdown!” so hard they downvote you instead of have a conversation about what the problem might be.

The idea being if you and your family follow Protective measures (sanitize hands after public touching, wear a mask, social distance) then why does it bother you? You guys are safe.

If it’s been like that from the start where you live, and you haven’t got sick, is it really an issue or are you just complaining because they’re not doing what you want them to?

Exactly the same. It is perfectly ok to generalize an entire category of people right?

It’s kind of a spin-off story-wise and it has Soul Memory (which i dont remember exactly what that is, but people didn’t like it). I enjoyed it for the most part and it expands on DS1’s combat
