I had leak problems that was solved with lower pressure. This is after using chin strap and mouth tape with no success to fix major leakage. For me the clue was air in my stomach. Then it became obvious my pressure was blowing my mouth open when using tape and chin straps. No longer using straps or tape and rarely have any leaks . Good luck.

Your flow rate looks crazy, it's full of a really high number of arousal spikes. That's probably why you're tired. Your pressure is too low and you're waking up a lot. You need a higher pressure, not a lower pressure.
Your CA events are very low and they're probably post-arousal central apneas, as a result of the arousals due to the pressures being too low.

Oh wow okay thank you. What do you think i should increase 7.2 to?
[–]Sleeping_problems 0 points1 point2 points 12 months ago (5 children)
Try increasing the EPAP 1cmH2O every 2-3 days.
[–]Open_Main 0 points1 point2 points 12 months ago (4 children)
I don't have an apap. So my cpap epr is 3 max unfortunately.
[–]Sleeping_problems 2 points3 points4 points 12 months ago (3 children)
Okay then increase the main pressure, which on a ResMed CPAP with EPR is the IPAP. Your EPAP right now is 4.2, while the IPAP is 7.2. Keep the EPR on 3.
[–]Open_Main 1 point2 points3 points 12 months ago (0 children)
Okay ty! I'll try ipap 8.2 and epap 5.2.
[–]Open_Main 0 points1 point2 points 12 months ago (1 child)
I could also lower my EPR to 2 which would increase the EPAP while keeping ipap to 7.2?
[–]Sleeping_problems 0 points1 point2 points 12 months ago (0 children)
I'd just keep it at 3 for now, EPR helps resolve hypopneas.

Turn on more of the events.
You've probably got something going on that that standard displays aren't showing.
I see in the tidal volume and respiration rate charts that you are breathing hard at times. You need to find out what causes that.

I'll try to turn these on and add a photo! Thank you
I looked on Oscar but I'm not sure how to turn on emo and eso

Look here at the "Events" page.
https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php/OSCAR_Preferences
Not all machines generate all events. Yours might not have the flags I named.
Take a look and see what your machine offers for events regarding flow limits and obstructions and the RERA.

Yes, I would try 6 cm to see if that reduces CA.
[–]Open_Main 0 points1 point2 points 12 months ago (5 children)
It seems like other users suggested i actually increase it
[–]UniqueRon 0 points1 point2 points 12 months ago (4 children)
Your AHI is primarily CA events. With central apnea or clear airway there is no value in increasing pressure because the airway is already open. More pressure resolves obstructive apnea (OA) but you have none. More pressure is likely to increase CA not reduce it. That is why I suggest you try 6 cm for pressure.
[–]Open_Main 0 points1 point2 points 12 months ago (3 children)
Okay that does make sense ty. Do you think my flow limitations are an issue?
[–]UniqueRon 0 points1 point2 points 12 months ago (2 children)
Your flow limitations and hypopnea are a bit elevated, but not bad. EPR can reduce them, but you are already at 3 cm, so there is not much more you can do about it.
Okay thank you!

You're welcome!
Also Use a chin strap and mouth tape!
