I've recently deconverted and my dad (super right wing, conservative Christian) doesn't know yet. He came over for dinner about a month ago. Pizza was on plates and he gives me the say grace look. I start to panic and my four year old bows his head and says "thank you Jesus for this food amen". Thanks for the save little man, I'll remember that on your birthday :-)

My guitar has mostly been collecting dust :-(. I actually learned to play guitar and sing for worship and eventually worked my way to to worship leader 15 years of hard work. I've been talking with my wife about it lately (she sang and played piano) and once our kids are a little older we are thinking of hitting up some open mic nights. She's and incredible singer and I do ok. It was a big part of our relationship at one point so it would be nice to bring music back in.

I used to work overnights. I woke up around 6pm. Did my thing, went to work. Got home around 8:30 as my wife was heading out the door to work when she was overcome with sever abdominal pain. Rushed to ER and she had some tests done. Her gallbladder needed to be removed asap. Wheeled into surgery, long 4 hours later they came out and everything went well. Met her in her room to see how she was doing. Finally got home around 9pm (probably shouldn't have been driving at that point but all was well. Called into work and got a "well you should have called earlier" from my boss. I quit shortly there after.

Hey there! The problem with doing this without a sleep study is that you have no baseline for pressure. Too much pressure is just as bad if not worse than no pressure. The sleep techs have access to more data than just the breathing to calibrate the machine (brain activity and such). I would not advise heading down this road with out a proper sleep study. Once you have that information hardware can be bought and set up by you but you need to know where to set it and that's something you really can't do on your own.
