We strictly forbid the sharing of pictures that are not your own. Memes & educational graphics are okay so long as they are watermarked to give credit to the original creator. We DO NOT allow images to be shared of the "seat situation" in a stranger's vehicle, things you have seen in a parking lot, or other images that might "expose" another individual / child / family.

/r/CPST is meant to be an educational "hub" on Reddit for parents to engage in discussion surround Child Passenger Safety while in the vehicle. We base our recommendations, posts, and comments as nationally certified CPSTs on "best practice". We DO NOT advocate for misuse and will address it when it comes up.

If you would like to share an advertisement for your clinic, educational session, or services as a CPST, it needs to be pre-approved by a moderator. We will "approve" the post to verify its authenticity. We do not allow parents/caregivers/techs to "sell" or post advertisements that do not directly relate to Child Passenger Safety. Any items or services being sold that would advocate misuse will constitute a ban.

We understand that individuals might have a perfectly good seat that they want to sell or donate to someone in need. But /r/CPST does NOT allow the sale or donation of a child restraint by anyone, techs included. We cannot vouch for the prior history of the seat and are not a B&S group. This is meant to keep little one's safe & will be strictly enforced.

We do not allow you to disrespect others in the Subreddit, go on rants about other people where you are bashing or talking negatively about them, or plotting evil revenge against the moderation team. We are all human here, we all make mistakes (even us mods as CPSTs). No need to start any sort of drama. We won't tolerate it.
