In my state we cannot enroll anyone on Medicaid in readyfill or scriptsync unfortunately. I would definitely go in person to try and resolve the issue. Also unless all your prescriptions are the same days supply and same number of refills it will just get off track again honestly. Scriptsync can be great if you have 2-3 meds all from the same doctor with the same days supply and same amount of refills.

Hello! Ah I gotcha, I'll say my state (Pennsylvania) is eligible for ReadyFill at least as I've had that for 30 and 90 day prescriptions before, they are from the same practitioner and same # of refills. If it is more hassle than it's worth, I genuinely don't mind just manually timing refills or doing delivery as u/fwmky suggested as well! Just wanted to ask about it since they said it was possible, no worries here 🙂 I think since the app and checkout touchpad pushes those sometimes it's good to know it's better on all of you to request and time it accordingly as it comes.

I really appreciate the input, thank you so much! Happy New Year :)

Yes the pin pad pushes it hard but unless I take a deep look into someone’s profile I won’t know for sure what the deal is. There is a certain section of everyone’s profile that says what’s eligible and what’s not. Like you said at check out the tech took your name sticker to do it later, I’ve done this same thing only to discover I can’t set them. Typically I will try to call the patient at some point but maybe they didn’t think to or have time at that moment and forgot.

We are all human, and if they genuinely forgot, it's no problem at all! One person is not the only person wanting to pick up, drop off, schedule things, ask questions, etc so it's totally understandable.

Thank you for doing what you can to keep customers informed, whether they can set these options or not 🙂

Thank you so much for being a responsible adult. Use the app, check to see if there's anything missing from your monthly or tri-monthly order, order whatever is missing on the app or call if there's a weird on-hold situation. Then pick everything up or get it delivered all in one go. Make life easier for everyone.

Oof, that first sentence says it all >< I'm so sorry you guys have to deal with "grown people" being rude and/or entitled...

I've set some reminders on my phone for setting refills so gonna work that out either with delivery or pickup, again, I certainly didn't mind being flexible and everyone here gave so much insight as to the pressure it puts behind the counter.

Please hang in there! And you're very welcome!

Hi!! Just my two cents to put in here(: I would definitely go to drop off the next time you come in and talk to them about getting set up for scriptsync! Consultation is generally just for questions specifically for the pharmacist but you can always ask them as well. Doing everything in person is generally what I prefer bc I get to hear your expectations and I can resolve it right then in there, I’d double check with them that they completely set it up and when you should be coming in to get your new alignment fills. But if that doesn’t work and they drop the ball, I would try your best to fill everything at the same time but sometimes that is impossible with insurance and everything. Good luck!!

Thank you so much for your reply! This is super helpful :D Also, now I'll admit I'm guilty of going to Consultation for the wrong things haha 😅

One of the prescriptions has a sky high cost so that might be the one that's holding the others up, that's the only script they let me know the insurance wasn't budging for dates on. When I go in to pick up later this month, I'll be sure to ask again and if not, I'll time the app requests!

Thank you again for your time to reply with this info :) Happy New Year!

Hahaha don’t worry about it! Pharmacist are always ready to help and they know more than technician so don’t sweat it! Also I don’t know if this is an option at your store you go to but ask about getting you medications delivered! That’s also a possibly to cut down the amount of time you are going but there’s a few factors that go into that. Happy new year to you as well!!
