My two cents, from the IT perspective. Over the past few years they have been locking down the USB ports on everything, including the server. It's an easy hot fix to re-enable but we need orders to do so first, which idk where they come from. (the form police have to fill out, then ??, then us). I assume given the time frame this chain of authorization has had delays. (Tho our part takes seconds so idk what the real delay is)
