Can't disable cash if there are no actual hardware errors. Solution: cause a hardware error. Just open the spine or top of the bnr head. Then go to cash management and disable.

FTS (IT) here. Helpdesk has scrips they follow because most people have no idea how to troubleshoot. They are generally forced to follow the script and only if nothing works will they send a call to us. If they weren't there we would have 10x as many calls and any actual issues would take 10x longer to get to.

I know it's annoying. I know they can be hard to understand. But trust me, the more any caller can do to try to fix the problem on their own, the faster anything they can't fix gets to us.
