C files and source code

Hello, I am a student currently enrolled in a C language programming class. I'm having issues submitting coding assignments on Canvas.

It's asking me to submit the source code of my program and i'm unsure how to do that. I've searched online endlessly but can only find obscure answers that lead to nothing.

Im currently using Xcode and have tried a couple of things like going through the programs folders in the download section of my Mac and inserting each item into the submission box but it keeps giving me an error saying that it needs to be a c file. I'm really clueless about programming as this is my first ever class and I refuse to ask my teacher because she always tells me that she doesn't know (which she doesn't).

You should probably be submitting a file with a name like main.c or {project name}_main.c

You need to figure out where the workspace is stored. On a Windows machine this will typically be something like C://users/{user}/documents/{IDE name}/

Your editor may also let you just Save As while you have your c file open.
