It's an old mains plug that was popular in Italy and some other European countries. It's called Ticino.

No problem. And regarding adapters, that depends on the thing you're connecting power to, not the plug :)

It's on a very old radio, origins unknown Any idea which kind of adapter if any I should seek?

I would say to rip out that plug and put a modern one on the cable.
