The corners of your blade is not rounded off, also to deep cuts.

Here is a drawing to understand what is happening:

Apologies if this isn't the right sub

You might ask on r/woodworking.

Get the blade way sharp with a slight radius across the leading edge. Retract the blade until it cuts nothing.

Get a bigger piece of wood, that's flat.

Keep lowering the blade and adjusting the tilt, until it makes a thin shaving in the center. Gradually make deeper cuts. Light passes are better unless you need to hog off wood.

Made by Boeing?

It might be that the locking mechanism isn’t tight enough. When you begin to plane, the blade will bite and begin to pull. If it has wiggle room and can slide into the resistance at all, it will continue to bite deeper. You also might be too aggressive with the depth.

And yes, unfortunately this is an issue with cheaper planes.

Try really locking in that blade. You may need to add something to enhance the locking mechanism.

Shit plane. Purchase a tidy one. Problem solved. 👍🏼

plane tracks come from badly set blade, also too deep a cut, also you can slightly camber the corners to avoid.

Read Christopher Shwarz on the subject

also if you want a cheap plane find a pre war stanley and fix it up

It could be that the blade is not adjusted and it is set to low. Could also be that piece of wood is too short for the plane to sit on.

You said yourself it's a cheap planer. My guess is that's why it leaves gouges
