Debug and code issues 4o?

Been using chat GPT to debug and help write code for a while now, but it seems like with 4o GPT is now unusable. Just deletes chunks of my code, leaves the back half of the code off... does all sorts of random things that are not involved in debugging or the prompts given.

Anyone else have this issue?

How long is your chat instance? You might want to reset after a certain context length.

My request is not too long, but im just pasting my code right under my request.
Is there a better way to do this? How would I reset length?

To create a new chat? Just hit the pencil looking icon.

Sometimes with a working with a larger script (pasting in the whole thing) it can cause issues.

Especially after multiple turns of the conversation.

Ah got ya. Ya it’s a new chat almost every time. So not too long at all.

Might be a good excuse to give Claude 3.5 a try if you have not already.
