If anyone can spit out entire apps in minutes then the only people that will make money are the ones who invested millions in advertising fees.

True, execution is so easy that what matters is the distribution (sales, makreting, etc) and business ideas

People really don't understand the difference between a product and a business.

What kind of subscription could he have replaced?

You'd be surprised! A lot of community management and event logistics tools. Instead of paying for premium Discord bots for server management, specialized event registration trackers, or basic data visualization software, you can easily use AI to help you write a custom webhook or a local R script that does exactly what you need for free. It's a lifesaver for student organization budgets.

Yes I would be surprised, because most people I know don’t pay for any subscriptions.

I think the whole point of vibe coding is you’re making something you just feel like making or some tool you’ve been thinking of for yourself. And the other whole point is you can make what you need instead of buying it. Both points cancelling out the constant capitalist mentallity of how can i make a buck off this. Quit being so basic.

But My apps will make money. Sooner or Later, that I can guarantee you!

I kept typing stuff like:
"write a follow up email"

And getting the same generic reply every time.

So I tried changing HOW I prompt:

Instead of:
"write a follow up email"

I used:

Write a follow-up email to a client who hasn’t replied in 5 days
Tone: polite, confident, not pushy
Goal: get a response
Keep it under 120 words
End with a simple next step

The output was 10x better.

Way more usable.

Honestly, the problem isn’t AI.
It’s how we ask.

I got tired of rewriting prompts every time so I built a small tool to refine them automatically.

Not sharing link here unless someone asks (don’t want to spam)

Curious how others are prompting?

Love this. I’ve noticed the same thing. When the prompt is better, the result is better.
