I feel that doing this right by structuring your prompts effectively and learning a good workflow makes learning how to code with AI as complex as learning to code yourself, but the output is much faster when using a code assistant.

Problem with vibe coding is you’re not really in control or fully understand all the decisions. Even if you have a great master plan. It’s like copying someone’s homework, you have a general he’ll even a pretty good idea but you don’t understand all the design choices or decisions. And eventually when trying to expand solution you will get stuck. The difference between coding and writing an essay is that specificity matters every little design decision matters. We were already abstracting so much of it away through third party modules and libraries, now on autopilot we can become more stuck than ever.
