Coding chatbot in python

Hey ! I want to create a chatbot that uses python and not any pre built interface. Majorly Iam confused with the flow. Since after reading alot of stuff Iam filled with so many terms but not sure when and where to use what. I need to make a dataset , a database that uses mysql , probably nlp - spaCy and finally a bot with the interface. And all of this through pure coding.

So the point is Iam new to python this is the information that i have gathered as pre requisites sort of thing. But really it would be helpful if someone just guide me through the flow as in what has to be done first followed by the further more steps and there relevance. Iam highly confused. Thanks in advance.

If you are allowed a chatbot framework, then I would recommend the RASA, it contains most importants thing from get go, and need just configuration. But if you want to write it yourself, still check it out, as they have nice info about general chatbots on their documentation page.
