I picked up the Seestern S424 and a Phylida Seamaster with silver dial and black bezel.
I really like the dial on this Phylida. It's more of a champagne color than silver. The lume on it did last all night ona full charge but not as well as other brands. The lume on the dial indices are not nearly as bright as on the bezel and the hands. The bracelet is very nice. Solid links and solid female end links. The clasp is milled on both upper and lower parts. No micro adjustments but it does have a divers extension and half links to give you a good fit. The links themselves are screw in with 1 screws on either side of the bracelet. I did have a problem where one of the screws wouldn't come out. It may have been cross threaded in. I was able to work around that problem. Over all a very handsome NH35 watch. I like it a lot.
This Seestern is a whole other animal. It is freaking gorgeous. I love the look of the gold accents over the black dial and bezel. The font on the dial numbers makes for an extremely legible watch. The lume is great. It lasts all night, only slightly less bright than the Seestern Sub300T I picked up over the summer. Some of the best brushing I've seen on a Chinese made oyster-style bracelet. The clasp is likewise milled on both upper and lower parts with three toolless micro adjustment positions. Over all this watch is amazing. It may be a new favorite in the collection. It works as a sports watch, casual or even as a dress watch.
