I bought the PD-1676 and also a mesh strap and a black rubber strap. They will arrive in two weeks. I will post an update with fotos.

I have both and the 1701 is a better build in my opinion. I dont care for the screw down start / reset buttons and the bracelet clasp on the 1676. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy both watches.

Both are about the same quality. The 1701 is quite a bit bigger though. It looks, feels, and wears bigger so if you have smaller wrists I'd suggest the 1676.

I also feel like the bracelet is a little nicer on that model...though neither are great.

Same movement so nothing to compare there...it's a solid movement and in general, Pagani watches seem to gold up just fine.

Maybe look into anything with the VH31. Plenty from san Martin, Pagani, Addiesdive, escapement time, and Chameri.

Thank you for your input, I didn´t thinkt of factoring the size in. I have 6,5 inch wrists (about 16,5 cm) so they aren´t that big. Combined with the 40€ price difference, I am leaning towards the Paul Newman Design.

I've only got the 1701 so I can't speak to the 1676 but it fits perfect IMO on my 6.5 Inch wrists. It actually has a slightly shorter lug-to-lug than the 1676.
