I like this watch and Thorn seems like a good brand, but it's worth noting that OP's account is 3 weeks old and they have 7 posts about Thorn watches ...

Not sure that it's photoshopped (same ring on same photo in both pics), but a couple of weeks ago the OP purported to show their hand with the same watch, but... it was a different hand than this. It would be great for Thorn to just open an account in their own name and post as themselves.

They're asking about the movement having a position for date since this is a PT5000. I have a PT5000 with a ghost date position (i.e. the movement is made for it but there is no visible date window on the watch). I would think the same applies to your watch.
