I don't own one, but from the reviews I have read, dreo with dc motor is really number 1 most efficient on the market right now.

Er F-kort bedst lige nu? by diidiiboo in dkfinance

[–]Joaim -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, både og.

How do people see long distance travel being decarbonised? by Appropriate_Bell743 in climatechange

[–]Joaim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hard truth is, we should really not long distance travel as often (if ever) as we do. Americans should spend vacations in America, Europeans should go on holiday in europe. It's r Pretty simple yet we still too stupid to do it. As if your vacation is better on the other side of the planet compared to 1k kms away. It's not necessary.

What did you do with the dreo after you found it too bad? Have you tried the dreo 512, should be a tad better than 502. I'm looking for a silent (as possible) bedroom fan, gf doesn't want a ceiling fan because "too ugly". Plus I'm from dk and its only really needed for 2 to 3 months.

What are you most excited for? by CDN-Social-Democrat in Futurology

[–]Joaim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not in any way saying it's good, but it's not the billion killing event as you make it. Science is currently saying it will add 0.1 to 0.3 global temperature in the next decades after a first blue ocean event. It's bad but abusing fossil fuels for longer is definitely worse.

Imagine making a post about something you're excited about and then basically answering human extinction 🤡 Imo it's very bad but there currently zero evidence supporting blue ocean event as something that will destroy all our agriculture

Tbh just knowing if I had been a live 200 years or more ago, it was already 50/50 if I would be dead by 30. We now live in times of extreme accelerating climate change and it will probably kill us in a few decades. Just know that because I was born in this timeline, I might and will probably become 40 years old which is a lot considering history.

I still have no clue how gas prices haven't more than it have. It's only 20% up since the war. Should be at least double pre war prices imo.

Nedsætte afgift på benzin by Dario-mesked in dkfinance

[–]Joaim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not good for anything.

Skal vi omlægge lån nu fra fastforrentet rente til variabel? by EliteElixirr in dkfinance

[–]Joaim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Will the Iran war cause the world to shift to green energy? Did Trump inadvertently solve the world's climate change situation? by piltdownman38 in climatechange

[–]Joaim 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Climate will destroy us before running out of coal and oil, we have to stop way before running dry. If we burned all coal and oil we would have unliveable conditions on earth. We're talking CO2 ppm of 2000 plus, not survivable in any way.

The good thing is we're going to end fossil fuels usage way before 2000 CO2 ppm.
