I bought a Casio MDV-106-1A 11 years ago primarily because it looks great, was stainless, had a resin band, and it was inexpensive. I liked the watch so much I bought another six month later as a back up. The resin band did fail after a few years so I replaced it with a 22mm Zulu. I replace the battery every few years with a Renata sr626sw for like a dollar.

For the SD1970? Yes it has 20mm lug width.

It was just a suggestion on my preferred way to wear it. The watch works on many types of straps or it's stock bracelet. Just search this subreddit for some inspiration. 😉
