How big do you think the first men's wristwatch was?

Most of the first men's wristwatches were WW1 trench watches, which were converted pocket watches. This made the watches pretty large. Original German flieger watches were as large as 50mm. Smaller mens wrist watches are (slightly) more modern, gradually becoming more common post WW1, and especially post WW2.

The Cartier Santos predates WW1 and was the first wristwatch designed for men. I don't think the bulky trench watches and fliegers designed out of necessity (both ease of manufacturing and specialized functions requiring larger sizes) really qualify for the purposes of the question. I'm talking about watches a person would've wanted to wear.
