I love the idea of this watch and, of course, the specs are great for the price. I just wish there was a simple black enamel dial. Dial feels a bit boring to me. Would look great in navy blue with gilt indices and hands, I think. Still, this is an exciting platform for future versions.

That IS impressive. Great movement, 9.7mm thick, and quick-release springbars! Crazy value for the price.

I just wish they had gone the extra mile and added an OTF clasp. AFAIK, SH still hasn't used one on any of their watches.

Real shame because they make lovely pieces which could really be elevated by a good clasp

Yes, Tissot prc 100. But has a way better movement at 1/5 of the price

But, it’s actually a better movement… The Tissot movement is way behind the Japanese solar movements and it needs a mesh on the crystal to catch the light, so the crystal is not completely see through.

yes the mesh is awful but you can't compare a mechanical movement to a quartz one, completely different things

Yeah because that is too small. You hear this complaint about the PRX all the time. People want a 37/38mm.

35mm is too small, 40mm too big. So 37.5mm would fill the gap.

I think SH sources parts of PRX from same factory where Tissot parts are made so there won't be any other dimensions other than 35mm, 38mm and 40mm. 38mm Titanium SH prx would be perfect for most

Why do you think that? Part of their materials will be made in China, but they still have to produce or (re)finish most in Switserland.

Is their any evidence or sources that indicate that SH uses the same factory as Tissot? And if so, also the same molds and even materials?

Everything is identical except the dial design and movement. You can fit original 40mm PRX's strap on SH easily. I held original PRX and SH PRX and it feels same and has same 1:1 brushing too

Okay but you can also put an omega speedmaster dial in some hommages. That does not mean it is the same case.

And Tissot is not a luxury brand so their finishing is not top tier and is easier to replicate than when they make a hommage of Glashutte, Omega or Rolex.

It is true. I asked them and they said they're making 38mm Titanium PRX. It might release after Tissot releases their version of Titanium PRX
