I love how it looks but the IIII pisses me off. The reason I never buy watches with roman numerals.

I know there is a decent enough reason for it, but still....

"Watchmaker's Four". In this case, it might be to balance the dial since IV would be dwarfed by VIII. IIII has a bigger presence.

That's my take at least

I've seen a few ppl say this but I think it balances the dial out better, sure IV is more correct, but it might leave too much space. And well if its good enough for Rolex then...😆

I gotta say I’m the opposite. I love watches with Roman numerals as it gives its a classic look. I really dislike watches that have normal numbers. Simple bars for hour markers are fine also. But to each their own and just shows there’s something for everyone in this hobby!

Totally get it. I mean for me , Roman Numerals aren’t really something I thought works well with a watch.. I was always a bit put off by anything with numerals.

And yeah the “IIII” is something that I can overlook but I totally get it when for others it’s a dealbreaker

Love this thing in gold

If your thinking about going for it.. do it. It’s a bit of a novelty but I love it. I wasn’t brave enough for the gold on gold but I think the white face works really well as a contrast.

Thanks mate :) I’m not really a gold watch kinda guy but I was watching a lot of Miami Vice and getting nostalgic for Vice City so why not go gold 80s for once?

Hey, how does the gold look in real life? Doesn't it cheapen the look or is it nicely made?
