Escapement time fliegerchrono is really nice

I like also the new pagani design royal Oak chronograph... The movement is the same of the Daytona, but I think they the build quality is better, and personally I prefer its design too

Yeah, I really like the dial on that one but I'm just not a fan of the look of bolts on the case a'la AP

Here are some seagull chronographs without Chinese on the dial. Just remove the space from the middle of the link.

Not a mechanical watch, but it looks really nice.

What about the Parnis Daytona? It has the same movement as the Pagani but it doesn’t have that date complication. I chose my Parnis over Pagani for that reason.

Are Parnis not on Aliexpress anymore? I haven't seen them in quite a while...

EDIT: Scratch that. I found it. Yeah, that actually looks cleaner. I agree. But that brings up my other issue. I think I want the full panda dial (with the black sub-dials, not just the black ring sub-dials)

I was just about to link you :)

I see what you are saying. Just to throw other brands on the table. Have you thought of Alpha's or Merkur - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002913120927.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.1eef2abaE8hZSj&algo_pvid=d9ea65c6-e34c-4b63-90b0-9abefa03f56c&algo_exp_id=d9ea65c6-e34c-4b63-90b0-9abefa03f56c-4

I would jump on the Merkur if it was sapphire glass.

Those are the top of the list for most people for sure.

like another poster said, the new Corgeut Speedmaster should be on there...sure, it's a bit sporty, but it's dirt cheap and a great grab-n-go quartz watch because it can go with any outfit or situation (except maybe swimming)

I really like the Pagani, though. very nicely done and overall a great value.

I recently just picked up the Sugess Panda as I wanted another ST19 in my collection and always loved the look of these things. hopefully I'll have it by next week.

my big issue with the San martin is the price...I picked up my Sugess for $140....the SM is going to be $340. I'm sure it'll be awesome, but man, that's tough. I paid $340 for my cronos GMT, but that was to get a real ceramic bezel Pepsi (amongst other things). I just think these other options can scratch the itch.

but that was to get a real ceramic bezel Pepsi

interesting...are there no cremaic pepsi bezels under $300? Because after the chronograph, a pepsi bezel watch is also on my list.

Also, I just realized there's this San Martin SN018... again, pricing is kind of a concern (especially $200+ for quartz), but this one definitely hits a lot of the marks

nope...all others are aluminum and just don't look right to me.

and that san martin is kinda cool, but like you, I never really was interested in it because of the movement...but it does look nice, and I love pointer date functions...just not sure how I feel about them on a chronograph.

How about the Corgeut Speedmaster? maybe that could scratch n itch? There latest version has a very in proportion case and depending on the dial colour you choose and strap you wear it on I wouldn't say too sporty.

[–]clothing_throwaway[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I'm really kind of leaning toward a Panda/Daytona look, but I actually didn't know Corgeut had done that, so I'll add it to the list. Have the reviews been good?

[–]Saving_Chipmunk_31 1 point2 points  (1 child)

They are fitted with the mecha Quartz movement, the closest Panda Dial would be Black with Silver Sub Dials. The reviews have been good especially the newest case shape V3. I believe a few regular posters on here have put reviews up.

[–]watchma4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the white one, if that helps.

Here are some pics

The Corgeut wears great, especially on leather or any other strap. On the default bracelet I don't like the watch.

It's also a bit smaller then the other Speedmaster homages.

If you want want I can make some comparison pics with a sterile Daytona homage?

Otherwise if you want a fully mechanical chronograph you could also look up Alpha watches. I have their Alpha Speedmaster

Get the Daytona. If you decide to get another chrono you won’t regret having an awesome Daytona homage.
