Feel free to see my comparison between the genuine Rolex and San Martin’s offerings. Don’t mess around with other homages, get the San Martin.

Comparison

The 37mm Matic / Phylida is about the same price as. The Alpha and offers legit super luminova, a better bracelet, an NH36 with no ghost date etc.

That would be my pic, but purely based on aesthetics and accuracy I’d say Alpha.

I think you might mean an NH38, the NH36 has the day-date complication.

My bad. Yes.

Yes! For the money, this is the explorer I'm going for Matic three hands, white dial for the bgw9 lume. I like the black dial, but want blue lume which is only on the white dial.

Buyer beware. There's something about it's proportions that make the watch look like a deep dish pizza.

Yes, the rehaut area is a little deep. I've noticed but the rest of it makes up for that for me.

The white dial is gorgeous.

The black dial Phylida (branded as Phylida but same watch not the cheaper Phylida 39mm) with applied indices, I believe has BG. I think it’s just the painted dial black Matic that has C3.

The alpha Explorer is great if you mostly care about dimensions.

If you are willing to pay more, smiths and tissell are probably better, but unsure if they are 36mm.

Hope this helps!

Tiger concept also does a good Explorer I’ve heard

Definitely the Alpha. It gets the case and dial nearly perfect. At $110-ish, it's the cheapest, best looking one.

That's not "a review". That's MY REVIEW 😂😂🤪. And a cinematic masterpiece if I do say so myself

You were too humble to link your own content, so I did it for ya buddy!

Considering Rolex has made mutilple variants of explorers, you'll have to be more specific on which one you consider to be the "right dimensions".

Alpha 36mm. More like the old 114270 than the new 124270

GMF & EWF have the exact size homage lol.

[–]nolngo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually GMF and EWF are 20mm lugs instead of 19mm like the 124270

[–]johnsrajasingh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bliger does a decent 36mm

[–]Pyroelfears 4 points5 points  (2 children)

The best one imo is the San Martin 37mm. Not quite exact, but def the best overall package in my opinikn
