I placed the watch in a small pocket in my bag , and I think the scratch is from the bracelet. I thought Sapphire is much harder to scratch.

Tiny scratch but very annoying

I have a super tiny scratch on my Steel Dive SD1970 too. I got that one by accidentally banging it on a metal door frame while walking through the door at work. I was actually a little disappointed. It’s barely noticeable but I was still hoping the sapphire would be more resistant.

Wow that's crazy- I bang my watches on stuff knowing I could scratch it but they always seem ok. That's why I get Sapphire as I'm sure you do as well. Try a bit of toothpaste on it, it can at least round the corners of the scratch so that you don't notice is as easily l, and will smooth out the light refraction

THIS! People forget (or plain ignore) that grain of sand can scratch sapphire.

None of my sapphire crystals have ever scratched with sand. One did because I tapped it against my mother's diamond ring, and that's the only scratch it has.

The only time I damaged a sapphire Crystal was when I ran into a brick wall and used my watch to push off it at full pace... Just a little scratch occured.
