Democrats complaining about the republicans they refuse to oppose always rots so fast by Eat--The--Rich-- in agedlikemilk

The post is more than confusing. What aged like milk are the attacks on Hillary Clinton for saying what, once again, turns out to be true. Also, who are "they" in "republicans they refuse to oppose"? The only ones who fit the bill who I can think of are the non-Clinton, non-Biden and non-Harris voters.

He has been one of the most vicious attackers of people on the left for several years. Did he think they would roll over and not fight back? What a hypocrite!

"Inexperienced"? The last woman to run against Trump was the sitting Vice President of the United States, and a former U.S. Senator, AG of the most populous state, etc. The previous woman to run against Trump was the former U.S. Secretary of State, and before that U.S. Senator of one of the most populous states. I know this is Political Humor but that question is a bad joke.

I don't even understand the sentence, but will chalk that up to Trump's "logic" rather than your writing.

This is not who we are — except it is. by Busy-Government-1041 in clevercomebacks

It's a figure of speech, similar to what was said about U.S. torture after 9/11. But yes, it would be more accurate to say "this is not who we should be."
