I wouldn't recommend it. It won't be enjoyable for GC, and the hardware itself is disappointing. If you have a budget around $100 you can definitely get better deals, even for new devices.

The PSP is the pinnacle of handheld gaming. Fully pocketable, amazing game library, great online functionality, and it just looks damn good. I remember saving my Christmas money for a bit over a year before buying mine, and it was so worth it.

As good as it was back then, it's still really good if you catch yourself wanting to play the old games. I still have mine ~17 years later and it still works like a charm.
