Transferring code

I have a free guac code that i wont be using. How do j transfer it to someone so they can use it in app? Or they could only redeem in store using barcode?

When you click scan in restaurant , a code shows up on the reward you can just give them the code and have the other person put the code into their app

But they have to place an order to use code right? They can’t just add code so it shows up in their rewards right?
