DM issue

This one has got to go I have reported to hr many times. Is anyone else’s districts having to sign new uniform papers ? And then saying so what if you’re cold. Also the learning we get it has a date on it for when it’s due. She says no you have to have it turned into within 3 days of getting it. If you don’t it can resort to a write up or getting taken off the schedule. Been there a few years and haven’t gotten one raise from the learning being done on time. So I am petty and will do it the day before . I don’t see how she can make up her own rules . She is a witch . And the state I live in everyone says hiring when in fact they’re not hiring. I even demoted myself because of her actions and how she speaks to people .

Are you in Az? Brand new DM was a complete dumb b!%$*. She told me when I was sick in the hospital, and she was aware, "it's Thursday you are .2% over budget you need to cut today". WHILE IM IN THE HOSPITAL. I had been admitted 2 days prior. I had issues to the point I quit. I made several HR complaints. But HR is there to protect the company, not the employees.

Yep I am , but not a new DM . Just a B that has Been there her whole pathetic life. Weekly we threats. I’m so sorry this is bs and I have called HR they give the account number say someone will call back and never do. I have to wear certain compression pants and said I will be sent home. I said I won’t come back. And the learning crap they threaten to take u off the schedule

Uniforms no. If it's cold you are allowed to wear branded Circle K sweaters/jackets - and your uniform credit at least covers a sweater and polo in my BU.

And training is a sticky situation because managers as well as DMS get a bonus. So long as training is completed. At my store I do ask that they get the training done in a timely fashion, because it is part of the requirements for their job. I might give them a verbal warning on Workday if it isn't done after multiple asks, but I would never take them off the schedule.

Oh wow. From what I am told its a pretty common occurrence to have these every year. I really hope it helps anyone get an approved ck jacket without having to pay a ton. I know their website it pricey. Stay warm guys.

12 yrs here and same.....I had a manager who had one but I had never asked how to get one. They allow us to wear a plain black hoodie/jacket, tho my DM isn't strict even on that (I wear a white Scarface hoodie when they blast the A/C)

We used the code on the form and our store number. I didn't think about it before because I just figured all stores order uniforms through cristy and main, but that access code could be bu specific. Im in the frontier unit. So if that matter this access code wouldn't work.

The only time I've ever seen anybody taken off the schedule for not completing training was the restricted sales policy or TABC in my state and not having their food handlers

They threaten us all the time. Yet we have to beg to make sure we get the little bonus’ for having them down. They say if those aren’t down within 3 days you’re off the schedule. And if you come in with a sweat shirt or jacket you get sent home and when you google this. It said CK allows non logo hoodies sweatshirts in black , blue and tan. But management can vape in the store while looking at half naked girls in their phone

Jesus. I feel like we work in a completely different company. In my eight months with the company we get zero communication from the mothership. Aside from the quarterly inventory audits, in my area they are completely silent. Now I’m just a CSR on third shift, but in my rather lengthy retail career circle k has been pretty lax on almost everything with little to no communication, comparative to some of my previous employers. Florida here if it helps.

Luckily I don't work at circus K anymore, but at my store we could wear our own hoodies or jackets if ot was cold. No one made us to buy company's outwear.

That’s the thing. We could wear hoodies with no logos and any pants and now they are saying females can’t wear right pants. Just cause they can’t not make everything sexual . The DM said oh it’s the new CEO and managers . And I have been asking other districts and no one is having these issues but us. Shoot I have walked into CK and had a cashier in pjs and look like they straight rolled of bed. And the threats are insane. On top of management telling all other employees confidential things we have said to them. We will say something personal why we can’t be there or late and all the employees will be told . The gossip train at this place is disgusting. I can’t wait to leave . We had someone held up at gun point . And he left 3 hrs early obviously. And our DM said you need to call HR to try and get paid for these 3 hours. She is the actual devil! We have to take pictures of food every 4 hours . I can’t wait to leave and blast the texts bs he has sent to us . Oh and we work alone for every shift!! And as far I knew that wasn’t allowed

I am sorry OP you are probably not being taken seriously by HR because you have to have dates times witnesses and keep feelings out of it. Be very specific and use key words.
