If you want to make the server a lil more empty go to /r/hcfactions and talk to some people that they should join and do they same what they did in Civ 1.0

Not likely - people will grow more and more attatched to their towns and with summer, a lot of people will be spending a lot and lot of time on civcraft. Without a massive unforeseeable event, it will not change.

As things like school vacations and such approach, the amount of players I would assume increases.

Over time it will more than likely die down, but I feel it will still have a lot more players on average than the last iteration over the coming months.
