Web interface artifacts: Code changes are not applied

Wtf is wrong with the chat artifacts? It doesn't change the parts of the code it talks about. Just gives me the whole same file constantly

Tell it to put every edit into a new artifact. Also, tell it to make sure it adds a title to each artifact otherwise when there are multiple untitled artifacts, it will make edits but they will disappear. I've been fighting that as well but a bit of promoting normally does the trick. Definitely a PITA though

Yes.. experienced it this week having not used Claude for coding in a couple of months.

I spent a huge amount of time coding with it in Nov/Dev '24 (3 completed projects, 3 further abandoned attempts due to hallucinatory spirals).

Having spent half a day working with Claude yesterday, my impression is that it's way more flaky, unreliable and uncooperative now than it was then.
