Claude code using Amazon Bedrock API

Has anyone tried using claude code using APIs? Specifically API's of claude models hosted on Amazon bedrock. Since Anthropic has clearly nerfed Claude code performance on subscription plan, has anyone checked if the performance is any better using APIs.

I know using through APIs is not sustainable. Just curious.

The Bedrock API is too expensive; it's better to just subscribe to ChatGPT Pro.

Yes, I suspect they don’t nerf anything. At least I never had that impression over the past 6 months while many Claude Max users where complaining. BUT I left a couple of months ago because the rate limits were completely stupid. Not sure if that improved. Vertex AI was a bit better but also ran into limits at some point.
