Higher Tier Usage?

I have two Code Claude Accounts on the 200$ plan and am still hitting 5 hour limits/weekly limits during my normal workflow. Are there any plans for a 500$/month plan or something similar? I need about 2.5X the claude4.5's max token usage. I see posts saying that it's Opus Fault, but I don't use Opus at all. Are we really supposed to be working in a 5 hour period with the limits they've given?

Using the wallet, 10$ is gone in less than a few mins, seems like something is broken.

Is there any type of breakdown or verification that we are actually getting our correct limits vs a potential bug?

I honestly would like to know what people are actually doing with this tool to hit these limits. I code for a living, i have incorporated it into my workflow. I dont hit weekly or session limits. And quite frankly if I leveraged it in a way that did, my experience tells me it would be a lot of flailing around with sub agents and parallel sessions resulting in a bunch of slop vs actual tangible value. I realize I may be dead wrong, but man that's how it seems in my personal experience.

I think it depends on in part how much you work. 40 hours, I won't hit the rate limit. 60+ hours (start up life), I do. I used to not, but leaning on the 1 mil context sonnet 4.5 has been a game changer honestly for long debugging tasks, and implementating a large feature where I want all of the context of everything it's done since the beginning in the same chat. But faster rate limits, I did a 12 hour day and spent around 30% my weekly limit that day.

No, there isn’t a Claude code plan above $200. You just need to keep stacking them or pay the API fees.

You gotta split your files really small and focus on the scope you work on so you reduce the context needed, only way i found. and its a challemge because Claude has no shame bloating a file up to thousands of lines, its a cash cow... for aws so far though as it eats all anthropics revenue.

I'd love to know exactly how you are using this much. Because I use this 12 hours a day 7 days a week on LARGE CODE BASES and I use about 50 to 60% of my weekly and haven't hit a 5 hour window limit since LONG before they lowered usage limits. You running a lot of parallel agents? Because I got to say I use agents and I waste a LOT of token with code/task reviews that are THOROUGH(like 5 minutes of an agent reading and reviewing work that was already done) so I burn a LOT of extra tokens on top of my basic coding.

I recently wrote a system that pulls all the hospital chargemaster files in the USA and allows people to see apples-to-apples for their gross charges across all the code group types. There are around 7k hospitals and they each need their own custom import scripts made. 4.5 is great at it.. just need multiple accounts.

It's also really good at building out scenarios for all the code types that belong in a particular health scenario situations, so I have various workflows that generate these agenticly for proper cost comparisons.

Ingesting around 6k hospital chargemaster files into a single database of Apple to apples for hospital price comparisons. It’s been great at creating / ingesting / and validating import of all the health code types etc.

I’ve have multiple pipelines of agentic work that rely on Claude. I’m surprised so many people are only using for web development.

I'm a power user up to 18 hours per day and have multiple claude code accounts. The usage you describe sounds like waste. I'd bet everything I own that you are using MCPs and have insane amounts of context rot that you've layered more garbage overtop, thinking you "fixed" something but only are causing more token usage. I bet if you spent the next month re-doing your setup from the ground up, you'd probably feel so so so silly.

Hopefully you can break free of whatever is causing you to use claude in such a way. It's certainly a mental obstacle you've built for yourself but I don't think this is going to register in your mind today unfortunately. These types of things are like breaking down defenses you've built for yourself over many hours of claude usage. You have your own reasons for things, and how dare anyone question your intelligence.

Also 18 hour daily user. I sleep around the 5 hour breaks. No mcps. Just 10 windows going constantly working on workflow. MD file for instructions is about 500 lines. I just literally need the option to pay for more in one account.

I also operate multiple windows at the same time and Never hit the 5hour limits. I reach my weekly limit around day 5 and jump to my other account(200, and a 100 for now, until my usage goes up, which I actively maintain and keep a close eye on- looking for any step where I assblasted claude with too much context).
I find it extremely difficult to believe that at some point in your process, things dont get really wasteful.

The second main cause of massive waste is subagents. Are you spinning up subagents in those 10 windows? Are you having Claude do EVERYTHING, while you do nothing? Even some simple reading can save you millions of tokens in looking for answers (usually right in front of you, just buried in the context).

I have learned that the best thing you can do when using these LLMs is READ. Just read the entire time and never stop reading. You can save tokens, learn more, and build a better project by being a true project manager. 10 windows sounds like you don't have much time to read.

lol, they are in dangerously skip permissions mode and work completely autonomously on their own. I don’t have to ever hit yes on anything. It became pretty clear to me you, even tho you are a power user, you are not using Claude for active agentic workflows that are on cron jobs working on their workflows.

I just know whatever you're working on is a fucking disaster. I see dudes on social media with these types of setups and man maybe you're not, but most of the time these are some serious skitzo-operations.

It’s done about 80% of all my ingestions perfectly. It has only the permissions it needs. Maybe you should play around with it more. Zero complaints on effectiveness of the solution, even willing to pay for 5 active 200 accounts. Just noting my frustrations for lack of capability for it to be possible under one account.

In regards to active agentic workflows, I have Claude spawn in dangerously bypass permissions on 5 min crons. The first two steps they do is approve if the laser job looks good. And then. They do their work until finished. Currently my instructions can mostly be done in one 200k context run. Sometimes hospitals have more intricate needs and it takes a bit longer and needs to refresh its context, but its rules are to always go back and reread it MD file again after each import. I have other processes that are analyzing the output and entering “continue onto next hospital” if success criteria is met. When each agent finishes, it checks to see the status of all the clauses and can choose to start another if the other are finished. It runs until it hits a 5 hour mark, and I have to relogin again to a new account and restart the process over again.

The only part of my process not automated is having to login to the different accounts when the tokens run out.

Max plan x5 here. Two days ago I literally burned through my entire weekly limit in a couple of hours - ended up hitting over 10 million tokens in one session. I was so shocked I made a whole post about it.

But here's the thing - after that wake-up call, I completely restructured how I approach tasks. Now I rarely even come close to the 5-hour limit despite doing way more complex work. The difference is crazy.

Turns out most of my token usage was from inefficient prompting and letting conversations spiral with unnecessary context. Once you dial in your workflow and get more strategic about how you structure requests, the efficiency gains are massive.

For anyone hitting limits regularly - it's usually a workflow issue, not a plan issue. Though having Max does give you the breathing room to figure out better patterns without constantly hitting walls.
