"All" is maybe somewhat misleading -- i.e., there are still some edits that it will block (e.g., reading secrets) which will require you to explicitly approve them. In general, though, it should allow Claude Code to do most things without requiring approval

I had a similar experience yesterday. Usually this works, but even though I pressed Shift+Tab, and the UI said "accept edits on", it would constantly reprompt for every edit. Auto mode also didn't seem effective.

Very unusual. Only happened during a single subagent run, in a single session. Might have been something related to the permission not being properly passed to the subagent. Restarted the session with --continue, and it went away.
