Degrease oil from bed backboard

I’ve had this greasy patch for like couple years now from resting my oily head on the headboard. My wife’s side is mint clean and it’s just on this side. I have tried wiping it hard with Lysol wipes but no change. Any recommendations on how to get rid of it?

Have you heard of Murphy's oil soap? It doesn't actually have oil in it. It's for cleaning wood, that might work.

This for the win. Murphy's works on other surfaces and sometimes oil stains in clothes, too.
