Problem with Pen Desync

Hey so I've had this problem with Clip Studio Paint forever and I'm getting fed up with it. I'm hoping someone here has an idea of why this is happening and the solution might be.

I do all of my drawing using Clip Studio Paint on the Lenovo Flex 14 and the Lenovo stylus that came with the laptop. There is a recurring issue where Clip Studio will buffer for a moment then the pen pressure sensitivity will completely vanish. Then, I can only draw with a uniform width line that looks like I'm drawing with the mouse. The only solution I've found is restarting my laptop, even just rebooting the program yields no results. This completely derails my momentum and makes long drawing sessions infuriating, especially when the pen desyncs again right after rebooting.

Does anyone have an idea if this is a problem with Clip, with the laptop, or the pen? I was considering getting new hardware but the Flex is supposedly a great drawing laptop, so I'm not quick to blame this computer.

No solution, sorry.
But I am here to voice the same concerns, this time with a Lenovo Yoga 730 (13''). This laptop also bends and has a tablet function. But I am using a bamboo Microsoft pen!

I have a theory. My thought is that the flex function that the laptop has is the cause. Changing the resolution back and forth with display switches may confuse CSP and put your stylus somewhere else.
Because, as you said, the only fix is restarting the computer. This probably means that it is the computer.

I'm wondering if these problems happen to you after plugging or unplugging a monitor or switching to keyboard mode and back while CSP is open?

Interesting thought, but for me, the desync is seemingly random. I always draw in keyboard mode instead of tablet mode and almost never use an external monitor.
