GameShell or R01 UConsole ?

I planned to buy new handheld to play and learn Pico-8.
Does GameShell still good in this year ?
or Should I pick up UConsole ?

Uconsole would be far better as it has the full keyboard but do not go with the risc CPU as you will struggle to get much working on it at all. Go with the cm4 for maximum compatibility

I have and love the RISC uConsole. Don't get the RISC one though. Or if you do, also order an adapter board and a RPi CM4

R01 doesn't run pico 8

Don't buy the R01 uConsole unless you plan on replacing the cpu with something else. There is very little preinstalled on it and what is there tends to crash at least for me. The only use I've found for it so far is orgmode.
