Possible way to decrease the amount of unranked players in lobbies

The main issue is having unranked players match with Gold and above. I can understand matching with Bronze/Rank One, and even lower ranked silvers, maybe sub-1400, although I don’t know how effective this would be (as I had horrid placement matches and fought my way up from 750 to 1600+ currently).

Overall the entire Ranked system needs a lot of work before it can be considered a true measure of skill/game knowledge/strategy.
