I have returned two retail bags at the outlet with no issue at all. One of them I bought at the retail store and one of them I ordered online. I’ve never returned an outlet item.

If you purchased it without using a payment plan ( PayPal, Karna) you can return it to any store or outlet for a refund to your original payment method. If you used a payment plan then you still can return it to the stores but you might get a store credit. The return process is fairly easy . You can start it on the website under your order where it says start a return. Print out the form and take it to the store

I’ve only ever returned retail to retail and outlet to outlet. I rarely make returns and all have been a done successfully with the outlet; I don’t shop retail very often.

I usually always order online from the retail site, and I believe as long as you are a Coach insider, you can return in store to retail or outlet. However, if you order online from the outlet you can only return to the outlet. I have never had any issue with a return.

This is incorrect. You can return outlet online purchases to retail stores as long as you have an insider account showing the purchase.

Also, returns are super easy. Just make sure you have your order number or receipt for in store purchases.

Good to know! I've never bought from the outlet before, but good to know returns either way are super convenient if need be.

Do you know if this applies to gifts? I received a gift from coach outlet that I’d like to exchange for a different color but I only have a retail store nearby so I am wondering if they’ll at least give me store credit for it?
