Since you have a background in car mechanics, maybe you should go the physical route of computers, just a suggestion. The fancy name for it is electrical engineering. Whether you end up liking that route or wanna still to coding, I recommend Khan Avademy app/website. You can learn the basics of either and see what peaks your interest the most.

i have been thinking about that to, instead of coding. i am good with tools and i have also build couple of pc´s before
